This activity is designed to provide the primary care provider with practical clinical information on the recognition and evaluation of specific pediatric subspecialty disorders seen frequently in primary care office settings.

Learning Objectives

Upon Completion of this activity, the attendee should be able to:

  • Recognize when to refer a patient with scoliosis to pediatric orthopedics
  • Identify the most common foods associated with food allergy 
  • Review of case based clinic presentations associated with life/organ threatening autoimmune disease
  • Discuss common causes of palpitations and tachycardia in children
