The Orthopedic Fracture Conference is designed to review existing cases and apply the most current evidence-based knowledge and guidelines to establish treatment plans for improved patient outcomes. Current standards in the treatment of orthopedic trauma patient are constantly changing and physicians in this field lack adequate time to review, discuss, and synthesize all the new information that is available.
OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Recognize fracture patterns, (2) Formulate treatment plans, (3) Discuss the rationale for different treatment modalities.
