OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Analyze and apply evidence-based triage protocols to prioritize care for patients presenting with stroke symptoms. (2)  Evaluate surgical risk factors and interpret cardiovascular health status to guide perioperative decision-making. (3) Critically appraise current clinical guidelines and formulate optimal treatment strategies to improve patient outcomes.
