OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 

1. Apply national evidence-based guidelines (e.g., ATLS, NCCN for oncology-related trauma cases) when managing trauma patients.

2. Identify evidence-based timing of surgical interventions for complex or metastatic trauma cases.

3. Integrate new treatment modalities and technologies into trauma care as appropriate.

4. Contribute to help formulate multidisciplinary treatment plans for trauma cases discussed during the series.

5. Analyze adverse outcomes and near misses systematically to identify preventable factors and implement corrective strategies.
