THIS COURSE HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES ONLY.
Outside participation is not available for the Relationship Centered Communication course at this time.

Communication is fundamental to healthcare, and the need for a consistent relationship-centered approach to communication lends itself to focusing on all team members ‘why, which leads to less burnout and improved outcomes for the patient and the clinicians involved (Hirschmann et al., 2020).

RCC for the Clinician is built on the foundations of the BSWH ART of Communication Workshop, focusing on the clinicians' use of communication skills in daily practice. For clinicians, RCC provides the skills to develop trust, gain others' perspectives, and ensure understanding through Teach back. In addition, delivering appreciative feedback is a fourth communication skill.
