OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
1.  Review the anatomy of the temporal bone and how fracture patterns correlate with anatomical structures.
2.  Identify temporal bone fractures on CT imaging and anticipate potential complications based on fracture patterns and discuss complications secondary temporal bone fracturs and discuss appropriate workup and management strategies.
3.  Review audiogram results to identify patterns of hearing loss following temporal bone trauma and analyze the severity and timing of facial nerve injury using physical examination and electrodiagnostic testing to devise a treatment approach accordingly.
