Medicine Grand Rounds is designed to review existing cases and apply the most current evidence-based knowledge and guidelines to establish treatment plans for improved patient outcomes.

The purpose of the Internal Medicine Grand Rounds series is to provide the Internal Medicine physician audience with lectures to allow physicians to improve techniques involved in the diagnosis and management of disease often seen by Internal Medicine Physicians.

OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Describe the natural history & pathogenesis of NAFLD/NASH, (2) Recognize how to identify/diagnose NAFLD/NASH with limitations, (3) Discuss emerging and current guidelines for treatment.
