OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Recognize that service line specific surgeon champions are key to providing residents with a broad base of robotic surgical experience.
2. Describe operationalizing a robotic surgical curriculum is best accomplished when coordinated by a multi-specialty team.
3. Discuss training to all surgical residents during their first 2 years to complete the initial milestones for a robotic in-training equivalency certificate along with FLS prepares them well for participation in advanced cases in their senior years.
4. Use incorporating digital tools augment postoperative feedback and coaching of residents.
5. Discuss goal directed simulation prior to participation in live cases is essential for their safe participation.
