OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) assess the feasibility of an adjustable, subischial transfemoral prosthesis by comparing self-reported outcome measures regarding socket comfort, fit and utility relative to a persons’ conventionally made socket, (2) assess limb compressibility, (3) determine the influence of modifiable and non-modifiable variables related to LLA and their impact on prosthetic mobility, using the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model, and (4) determine if personal factors and self-reported balance and mobility are predictive of Component timed-up-and-go (cTUG) performance.
