OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) recognize the prevalence and misdiagnosis rate of vestibular dysfunction throughout the continuum of care, (2) better determine when it is appropriate to refer out to therapies for vestibular evaluations and treatments, (3) have a better understanding of how Physical Therapist's evaluate and treat vestibular evaluations and treatments, and (4) recognize the functional impacts that vestibular dysfunction has on patients.
