Family medicine physicians require effective strategies to enhance patient care by incorporating ultrasound diagnostic studies during clinic evaluations. One potential solution to address this need is the integration of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) into primary care practice. However, providers lack the necessary confidence and proficiency in utilizing these devices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Therefore, there is a gap in training and skill development that must be addressed to enable providers to confidently and accurately utilize POCUS in their practice, thereby maximizing its benefits for patients.
