OBJECTIVES: As a result of this activity, the participant should be able to: 

  1. Describe recent medical treatment advancements for patients with Cystic Fibrosis and how this has impacted both longevity and quality of life.
  2. Explain Psychosocial issues unique to this population and how these issues may impact patients' psychological functioning.
  3. Identify the role of psychologist in CF treatment team and be aware of existing CF Foundation mental health treatment guidelines.
