OBJECTIVES: As a result of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Describe recent medical treatment advancements for patients with Cystic Fibrosis and how this has impacted both longevity and quality of life.
- Explain Psychosocial issues unique to this population and how these issues may impact patients' psychological functioning.
- Identify the role of psychologist in CF treatment team and be aware of existing CF Foundation mental health treatment guidelines.
