OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Describe the rationale and evidence for routine comprehensive autoantibody testing in all patients with newly identified ILD (2) Describe methods of autoantibody detection used commonly for evaluation of rheumatologic disease (3) Identify high-risk autoantibodies associated with ILD development and progression, and explain how their presence influences screening frequency and clinical management.
