Nursing, Physician Assistant, & Allied Health Clinical Orientation - July 2026

Thank you for your interest in a clinical rotation at Baylor Scott & White Health.

Before you can begin your experience with us, you must complete orientation. 

Please click "Register/Begin" to start the Nursing, Physician Assistant, & Allied Health Clinical Orientation.

During this orientation you will:

  • complete an online form collecting information relevant to your program orientation.
  • have a series of online education modules required for completion.
  • receive a certificate of completion and next steps to complete the process with your program manager.

IMPORTANT:  Orientation course completion is required no later than the last day of the assigned orientation month indicated in the course link above. All course modules must be completed within that month. Failure to complete the orientation by the end of the assigned orientation month will result in expiration of the course, and the orientation must be repeated in its entirety before participation in any clinical activities.

REMINDER: To avoid potential delays to your clinical rotation, start date, please ensure your Name and Credentials in your profile is accurate in My Account > Edit Profile prior to completing the orientation and before downloading the Orientation Certificate of Completion.

Clinical Rotation Start and End Dates: 

Start and end dates should include entire rotation time spent at BSWH CONTINUOUSLY. 

  • Student Orientation Requirement: Students and faculty must complete Nursing, Physician Assistant, & Allied Health orientation within 90 days prior to the clinical rotation start date. Orientation completed more than 90 days before the start date will not be accepted and must be repeated.
  • School Attestation Requirement: The School Coordinator must submit a School Attestation Letter for each rotation period in accordance with student/faculty onboarding requirements.
  • Absence Greater Than 90 Days: If a student or faculty member has not participated in activities at a BSWH facility for more than 90 consecutive days:
    • The individual must repeat Nursing, Physician Assistant, & Allied Health orientation; and
    • The School Coordinator must submit a new School Attestation Letter.
  • Clinical Site Change Within 90 Days of Orientation Completion: If a student's rotation site changes within 90 days of completing Nursing, Physician Assistant, & Allied Health orientation:
    • Orientation does not need to be repeated; however,
    • The School Coordinator must submit an updated School Attestation Letter reflecting the new rotation site.
