OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 

·Build rapport with patients/colleagues in a healthcare setting to enhance the patient experience
·Recognize the patients’/colleague's perspective to improve clinical outcomes and patient/colleague experience in multiple healthcare settings
·Recognize importance of ethical principles of autonomy, beneficence, and nonmaleficence to improve clinical outcomes and patient/colleague experience in multiple healthcare settings
·Negotiate a patient/colleague interaction agenda to improve clinical outcomes and patient/colleague experience in multiple healthcare settings.
·Listen to patients, colleagues or their family members in a reflective manner to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience in multiple healthcare settings
·Respond to patients, colleagues or their family members with empathic statements to improve clinical outcomes and patient/colleague experience in multiple healthcare settings
·Collaborate on a patient centered plan with patients, their families and/or colleagues to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience in multiple healthcare settings.
