In Trauma M&M, unexpected outcomes and complications are discussed to  determine a cause and how it can be prevented from happening again to a future similar patient.

  • Identify best practices/strategies for the care of injured patients through the discussion of mortality and morbidity cases to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Review clinical competence in the management of injured patients
  • Discuss guidelines, ways to prevent injuries from happening, trauma cases and ways to improve the trauma program
