Objectives: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Discuss the concept of Time Value of Money and how it applies to large purchases.
2. Discuss strategies to protect yourself and your family financially after such a large sacrifice for your education.
3. Demonstrate how to use some premade Excel files to calculate large purchases and to know your numbers before you make those purchases.
4. Identify how to learn a new goal of a negotiating and how that goal determines your mood and daily outlook.
