There are new NCCN and NAPBC guidelines and physicians should be providing patients with guideline appropriate care based on current evidence based data and issues.

OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Discuss unique aspects of health care and counseling of the Irish Traveler community residing in North Texas, (2) Discuss the importance of timely diagnosis of SCIDS in a family with high prevalence of the disorder, (3) Discuss the current methods of diagnosis including post introduction of state wide TREC screening for SCID, (4) Discuss the treatment of babies affected by SCIDS.
