OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Discuss therapies for both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, (2) Explain interventional surgical techniques to ensure the best outcomes for patients, (3) Identify pertinent clinical syndromes and understand the required evaluation, triage, and treatment.
