OBJECTIVES:  Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 1) List multiple factors pertaining to lateral violence in nursing that have emerged in the 2020-2021 time frame. 2) Identify recent techniques from relevant literature used to mitigate effects of these new factors in lateral violence among nurses; 3) Identify opportunities in the BS&W workplace for mitigating risk of horizontal violence in light of these new challenges.
