- Identify mechanisms of injury frequently encountered in older trauma patients.
- Discuss the initial management and subsequent treatment priorities of older adult trauma patients.
- Discuss unique types of trauma and their effects on older trauma patients.
- Discuss elder maltreatment and strategies to help manage these patients.
