This activity indicates the current cancer care delivery system faces many challenges in meeting the needs of patients with cancer and their families. Patients require additional support to make decisions that are consistent with their needs, values, and preferences. Cancer care is becoming more complex, with many new treatments relying on moleculary agents and immunotherapies.

Objectives: Upon completion of this educational activity, participant should be able to:

1. Formulate state of the art diagnostic evaluation, staging, treatment, and clinical follow-up for cancer patients.

2. Utilize recommendations from current clinical guidelines.

3. Discuss treatment options to patients and their families regarding information about cancer prognosis, treatment benefits, harm, palliative care
