OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Discuss the current liver transplant allocation system and prioritization of liver transplant candidates, (2) Review the components of a liver transplant evaluation in an inpatient setting,  (3) Identify challenges in assessing liver transplant candidacy and how this may impact post-transplant outcomes.
