OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 

1. Recognize the burden of cardiovascular disease among women and their undertreatment compared to men

2. Identify sex-specific risk factors that put women at higher risk for cardiovascular disease

3. Implement frequent and early screening in women who have risk factors to reduce the risk of heart disease
