OBJECTIVES:   Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1 )Discus various legal/law enforcement mechanisms related to mental health patents
2) Explain apprehension by a peace officer without warrant (APOWW/OED) and order for protective custody (OPC) processes
3) Apply and analyze case scenarios to detaining mental health patients under current legal framework
