OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss the Support Hospital Opioid Use disorder Treatment (SHOUT) initiative.
- Discuss evidence-based Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
- Discuss how to initiate treatment for OUD, including buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone.
- Discuss importance of Naloxone prescriptions.
