OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 
(1) Describe the role of extracorporeal support in the management of patients with COVID-19.
(2) Recognize unique circumstances and challenges in this complex patient population.  
(3) Appreciate the role of lung transplantation in end-stage disease.
