OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Identify acute on chronic liver failure (ACLF) and the differences between ACLF and decompensated cirrhosis, (2) Learn how ACLF fits into current organ allocation policy (3) Discuss the risk factors of poor post- transplant survival among patients with ACLF.
