OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Provide a perspective on the evolution of anatomical pathology from generalist to specialist to cross-platform data integrators. (2) Describe and illustrate equipment requirements, functionality, and approaches to next generation pathology that enable precision hepatic pathology. (3) Illustrate examples of successful translational research projects from multi-center studies that are being translated in precision hepatic pathology care.
