OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Distinguish guidelines recommend classifying chest pain as "cardiac", "possibly cardiac", or "non-cardiac"
2. Value that high sensitivity troponin is a preferred biochemical marker for MI
3. Recognize that coronary CT now has level 1 evidence in evaluating intermediate risk CAD and is cheaper, faster
