New medical knowledge and technology are advancing more quickly than most physicians can keep up with and utilize wisely.  This series of lectures allow physicians to improve techniques involved in the diagnosis and management of disease often seen by Internal Medicine physicians.

OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1.  Explain why targeting an upstream cytokine such as TSLP in the asthma pathway may be more beneficial than targeting a more downstream cytokine.

2.  Describe what differentiates tezepelumab from its predecessors. 

3.  Counsel patients with non-T2 severe persistent asthma and this new biologic that does not require patients fit a particular phenotype.
