OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 

• Highlight background of intimate partner violence (IPV)
• Examine IPV risk factors and understand barriers to screening
• Characterize differences between men and women with traumatic brain injury (TBI) of violence-related etiology (VRE).
• Discuss limitations to TBI data when examining IPV as etiology
• Recognize facilitators to detection of IPV
