BJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) describe the incidence, disease burden, comorbidities, and socioeconomic factors of spinal cord injuries, (2) describe current use of cannabinoids among a SCI patient population, (3) investigate associations between cannabinoid use and behavioral health factors, and (4) describe differences in baseline characteristics and outcomes among individuals who use no substances, who misuse opiates, who use marijuana and who use both opiates and marijuana and report chronic pain after traumatic brain injury (TBI).
