OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Review the definition, etiology and pathophysiology of cerebral palsy, (2) Describe classification of cerebral palsy, (3) Review the impact of spasticity on growing children and muscles, (4) Discuss special consideration of pediatric spasticity management, and (5) Delineate different types of spasticity management.
