OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Evaluate the utility of nerve decompression surgeries in CTS and CuTS patients with HNPP or CMT1A , (2) Review approaches to the treatment of chronic pain with opioids, and (3) Employ efforts to minimize opioid misuse, abuse, and diversion.
