  1. Differentiate between qualitative and quantitative monitoring and types of each
  2. Review consensus statements and guidelines from various societies
  3. Discuss barriers to acceptance of quantitative monitoring
  4. Provide rationale against routine use of quantitative monitoring and respond to each argument with a counter argument in favor of quantitative monitoring
  5. Review briefly currently available devices
  6. Compare acceleromyography and electromyography
  7. Review consensus guideline recommendations
