OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) ) Review the use and indications of pulmonary artery catheters, (2) Describe how pulmonary artery catheters can elucidate between shock types when an etiology is not easily determined, (3) Review current SCAI Cardiogenic shock classification and our own system’s Cardiogenic shock assessment and management protocols.
