OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Assess the advantages and disadvantages of normothermic regional perfusion for donation after circulatory death liver transplantation. (2) Identify patients who are good candidates to receive liver transplantation from NRP DCD donors. (3) Modify the way in which the risks of DCD donation are discussed with potential liver transplant recipients.
