Practice guidelines in Neurology are constantly updated to reflect advances in technology and changes in the clinical practice and management of patient care, this activity will provide opportunities to stay abreast changes and best practices in application.

OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 

1. Identify opportunities to improve surgical care.

2. Employ strategies to prevent intraoperative and postoperative complications and review ways to improve care and treat cancer patients.

3. Recognize high risk situations related to surgery care.

4. Construct patient safety initiatives based on information discussed in cases.
