New medical knowledge and technology are advancing more quickly than most physicians can keep up with and utilize wisely.  This series of lectures allows physicians to improve techniques involved in the diagnosis and management of disease often seen by Internal Medicine physicians.

OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1.  Summarize the impact of neglected tropical diseases and COVID-19 among unvaccinated populations in the United States and globally.

2.  Report on global failures or weaknesses in vaccinating low- and middle-income countries especially in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa, and our Texas Children’s Hospital recombinant protein vaccine now in use in India where it is known as CORBEVAX.

3.  Summarize the origins of rising antivaccine sentiments and its recent shifts
