OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Define what constitutes concussion and have a general sense for epidemiology, (2) Identify specific tools used in the diagnosis and prognosis of concussion, and (3) Explain the factors in the Sway Balance System and the evidence for the use of this assessment tool in concussion.
