OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Explain the history of C Diff, (2) Discuss Microbiology, Epidemiology & Pathophysiology, (3) Explain Demographics and risk factors for infection, how to make an official diagnosis and clinical tips & pearls, (4) Identify past and current management & treatment options, complications of untreated/undertreated infection & novel microbiome-based therapies.
