2023 11th Management of the Complex Hospitalized Patient
Join us at the Austin Hill Country Family Resort | Hyatt Regency Lost Pines
Concept
The Management of the Complex Hospitalized Patient activity is designed to provide physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners with information and skills to improve their care of hospitalized patients. Topics presented will focus on special populations, such as geriatrics, and medical problems that span a spectrum of sub-specialties, such as end of life care, prognostication and wound care. In addition it will examine growing trends such as accountable care organizations and information technology systems and what that means for our patient population and care. The activity will address upcoming regulatory changes and review existing definitions. Optional modules from the American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification will be available at an additional fee.
