OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Identify non-adherence as a major risk factor for graft rejection that is responsible for up to 25% of deaths after the initial recovery period in organ transplant, (2) Identify four domains of the SIPAT assessment tool to address risks: Readiness Level, Support System, Psychopathology & Substance Use, (3) Identify the five SIPAT Score Interpretation sections for patient candidacy to transplant: Excellent, Good, Minimally Acceptable, Poor & High Risk.
