OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
1. Review the prevalence of underlying sleep apnea in our inpatient population

2. Discuss how sleep apnea affects other co-morbid conditions that we treat inpatient

3. Analyze best to handle a non-sleeping hospitalized patient
