OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Review current evidence-based recommendations for therapeutic interventions for patients with severe ABI, (2) Explain overground exoskeleton gait training (OEGT) for patients with severe ABI during inpatient rehabilitation, (3) Describe a novel measurement of arousal during OEGT sessions, and (4) Discuss future directions for interventions and assessments in the management of patients with severe ABI.
