- Explain the best practices/strategies for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative management of patients with Myasthenia Gravis

“Comparison of Postoperative Opioid Consumption Between Two Different Doses of Intrathecal Morphine”
OBJECTIVES: As a result of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss relevance of morphine in cesarean delivery.
- Identify recent change in intrathecal morphine dosages.
- Review findings from change in intrathecal morphine dosage.

“Individualized PEEP and Postoperative Pulmonary Outcomes”
OBJECTIVES: As a result of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Explain how to determine individualized PEEP in the mechanically ventilated patient.
- Identify specific patient populations that would most benefit from individualized PEEP.
- Review current literature regarding postoperative outcomes in patients ventilated with individualized PEEP.

“Spinal Anesthesia-Induced Hypotension (SAIH) and Approaches to Prevent it.”
OBJECTIVES: As a result of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Explain the causes and implications of hypotension during spinal anesthesia.
- Discuss the current treatments and management techniques.
- Analyze the emerging evidence for using ondansetron to reduce SAIH.
