OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  1) List the five WHO classification groups for pulmonary hypertension, 2) Define chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, 3) Discuss the pathophysiology of CTEPH, 4) Explain how the diagnosis of CTEPH is made and how to distinguish CTEPH from mimicking conditions, 5) Review treatment options for CTEPH and analyze currently available data.
