OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Review of innate vs adaptive immunity, 2) Discuss the brief history behind CAR T cell therapy, 3) Explain the mechanism of action and versatility in immune-oncology, 4) Identify the complications of CAR T cell therapy, 5) Compare the pathophysiology of CRS and ICANS to conditions like sepsis, 6) Recognize the physical manifestations of CRS and ICANS, 7) Describe the treatments and interventions for CRS and ICANS.
