OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Discuss the role of obesity as a potential root cause of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, (2) Describe the effects of GLP1 receptor agonists on heart failure-related symptoms, physical limitations and exercise function in patients with obesity-related heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.
